Download Festival Paris est de retour cette année avec une 3eme édition très prometteuse. 77 artistes annoncent 4 jours très intenses sur la base aérienne de Brétigny- Sur- Orge/ Cœur d’Essonne, pas loin de Paris.
Un line up excellent, avec des énormes têtes d’affiche : Guns N’Roses, Ozzy Osbourne, Marilyn Manson et Foo Fighters accompagnés par beaucoup d’autres super groupes qui vont certainement enflammer les 5 scènes du festival.
Avant le rendez-vous du 15-18 Juin 2018 découvrez la playlist des 14 artistes à ne pas manquer :
Ozzy Osbourne– No More Tears – pour son Farewell Tour- la dernière tournée de la légende OZZY – il sera accompagné par le guitariste emblématique, Zakk Wylde – un show forcement grandiose.
Greta Van Fleet – Safari Song – après un concert archi complet le 28 Mars au Les Etoiles à Paris – (Live report) – le phénomène rock de Michigan revient juste avant de la sortie de leur premier album prévu avant la fin de l’année.
The Struts – Could Have Been Me – les anglais qui tournent sans cesse aux USA, seront présents avec leur Rock N’Roll glam pêchu, les paillettes et la formidable voix de Luke Spiller.
Avatar – The King Welcome You to Avatar country – les métalleux suédois nous invite de nouveau faire un tour dans leur royaume heavy metal et théâtral enchanté( live report paris).
Nothing More – Just Say When – un de me grand coup de cœur de l’année dernière – le américains nommés au Grammy Awards 3 fois revient à Paris pour un show explosif et un tour sur le Scorpion Tail (live report – interview)
The NoFace – I am over you – l’Energie bouillonnante d’Oma Jalil, la chanteuse charismatique et les ex Skip the Use fera des étincelles sur la Main Stage de Download – leur premier album « Chapter One » est une vraie réussite( live report – interview).
Foo Fighters – Sky is A Neighbourhood – l’énergie et la maitrise du rock furieuse de Dave Grohl et ses acolytes de Foo Fighters n’a plus besoin de présentations « Concrete & Gold » leur neuvième opus est fantastique.
Guns N’Roses – Shadow Of Your Love – après l’énorme concert au Stade de France l’année dernière, les Guns continuent leur route avec une réédition de leur album iconique « Appetite for Destruction » attendu le 29 Juin 18 – le titre inédit Shadow Of Your Love est déjà disponible.
Royal Republic – Baby– Les suédois et leur rock délirant, catchy et méga énergétique, nous feront sans doute danser comme des dingues (interview)
Ghost – Dance Macabre – leur tant attendu nouvel album « Prequelle » sortira le 1er Juin 2018. Le Cardinal Copia va se prêter à une séance de dédicaces le 6 Juin à Paris- FNAC Bercy- on va donc découvrir ce nouvel opus agrémenté bien évidement de leurs plus grands succès.
In Search Of Sun – Say it like you see it – un autre de mes grands coups de cour du 2017 – le quintette britannique présenteras leur fantastique deuxième album « Virgin Funk Mother » et mettra le feu à la petite scène Firefly avec leur riffs smart et catchy et la superbe voix claire et puissante d’Adam Leader (interview).
Wolf Alice – Moaning Lisa Smile – l’indie pop rock post grunge des londoniens avec la voix délicate d’Ellie Rowsell ont déjà fait leur preuves avec 2 albums « My Love Is Cool » et « Visions Of A Life », le dernier paru en septembre 2017, qui les ont hissés au niveau des artistes les plus en vue en cette fin de décennie.
Stone Broken – Let Me See It All –rock heavy, mélodique et accrocheur, fortement inspiré par la scène hard rock américaine, les jeunes anglais de Birmingham présenterons leur deuxième album « Ain’t always easy » (interview)
Thrice –Hurricane– dès leur début en 1998 jusqu’à présent, les Californiens n’ont pas arrêté de se renouveler constamment – de guitares brutes et grungy aux sons électro, synthé et ambiances éthérées et mélancoliques, leur show présentera de morceaux de leur dernier album – To Be Everywhere is to Be Nowwhere

Download Festival is back in France with a very promising 3rd year: 77 artists announce 4 intense days in Brétigny – Sur – Orge / Coeur d’Essonne, not far from Paris. A fabulous line-up, with huge headliners: Guns N’ Roses, Ozzy Osbourne, Marilyn Manson and Foo Fighters that together with many other great bands will certainly put the 5 stages on fire.

Ozzy Osbourne – No More Tears – for his Farewell tour – the legendary OZZY will be accompanied by the iconic guitarist Zakk Wylde for a necessarily grandiose show – the last one or not? to be seen in France.
Greta Van Fleet – Safari Song – after their explosive sold out gig on March 28th at Les Etoiles in Paris – (Live report) – the rock phenomenon of Michigan comes back in France just before the release of their debut album announced for this year
