Après deux éditions consécutives reportées à cause de la pandémie de Covid-19, le festival HELLFEST double la mise en 2022 ! En plus de « son édition 2020 » sold out et deux fois reportée, HELLFEST nous offre un second week end entièrement consacré aux musiques extrêmes.
Au fil des mois, cette idée complètement folle d’ajouter une seconde édition dans la foulée de la première, est devenue une réalité bien concrète techniquement et artistiquement. Du 17 au 19 juin, puis du 23 au 26 juin, le HELLFEST va donc relever le défi de programmer, sur 7 jours, plus de 350 groupes ! Une chose jamais faite en France, voire en Europe ! Hell is Back!
Pour son 15ème anniversaire, le Hellfest qui se déroule à Clisson (Loire-Atlantique) propose donc non pas un mais deux festivals avec un line up explosif, en réunissant les plus grands groupes du monde !!!
C’est également en 2022 que le festival va pouvoir enfin accueillir Metallica ! Considéré comme l’un des plus grands groupes du monde, le quatuor californien est l’une des formations que le public rêvait d’acclamer un jour à Clisson. Mais cette venue exceptionnelle ne doit surtout pas éclipser la richesse et la diversité du reste de l’affiche… des affiches… !
Revenons déjà sur le weekend « sold out » initial. Si la crise mondiale a malheureusement forcé System of a Down, Puscifer, Infectious Groove, Incubus et quelques autres à annuler/repousser leur tournée en Europe, le line-up reste intact à 90% avec Faith No More, Judas Priest, Deftones, Deep Purple, Korn, Megadeth, Dropkick Murphys, Airbourne, Offspring, Social Distortion, Killing Joke, auxquels sont venus s’ajouter Avenged Sevenfold et Five Finger Death Punch, pour n’en citer que quelques-uns.
Chose inédite pour le Hellfest, le second weekend s’étalera sur 4 jours avec une programmation complètement différente par rapport aux trois jours précédents. En effet, seuls Airbourne, Megadeth et Killing Joke seront à nouveau présents aux côtés de, par ordre d’apparition, Scorpions, Wardruna (avec un show spécialement monté pour l’occasion), Helloween (au grand complet), Rise Against, Nine Inch Nails (pour une prestation unique en Europe), Ministry, Alice Cooper, Bad Religion, Guns N’Roses (pour la 1ère fois à Clisson avec Axl, Slash et Duff), Nightwish, Black Label Society, Avatar, Sabaton, Bring Me The Horizon, Mercyful Fate, et donc, Metallica qui clôturera en beauté ces 7 jours de folie.
La date de mise en vente des pass 4 jours du second weekend a été fixée au mercredi 7 juillet à 13h00, afin que les festivaliers puissent anticiper l’organisation de leurs congés, déplacements et, s’ils ne campent pas, leur hébergement.
A noter que les détenteurs de pass pour l’édition 2020, deux fois reportée donc, auront un accès privilégié, pendant 24 heures, à une prévente qui sera lancée le mardi 6 juillet à 13h00.
Cette option vise à remercier tous ceux qui ont soutenus le festival en préférant garder leur pass 2020 pendant près de deux ans. Pour de multiples raisons, aussi bien techniques qu’économiques (impossible de remplacer un pass 3 jours par un pass 4 jours), un échange d’un weekend sur l’autre n’est pas envisageable.
Le prix du pass 4 Jours est de 289€, celui du pass 1 jour sera de 105€ (hors frais de location).

After two consecutive editions postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, HELLFEST will organise 2 festivals in 2022! In addition to “its 2020 sold out edition” and twice postponed, HELLFEST offers us a second weekend entirely dedicated to extreme music.
Over the months, this completely crazy idea of adding a second edition to the first one, has become a very reality technically and artistically. From 17 to 19 June, then from 23 to 26 June, HELLFEST will take up the challenge of programming, over 7 days, more than 350 bands!
Something never done in France, or even in Europe! Hell is Back!
For its 15th anniversary, the Hellfest which takes place in Clisson (Loire-Atlantique) offers not one but two festivals with an explosive line up, bringing together the biggest bands in the world!!!
It is also in 2022 that the festival will finally be able to welcome Metallica! Considered one of the biggest bands in the world, the Californian quartet is one of the formations that the audience dreamed of one day cheering in Clisson.
But this exceptional arrival must not overshadow the richness and diversity of the rest of the line up!
Let’s already go back to the initial “sold out” weekend. If the global crisis has unfortunately forced System of a Down, Puscifer, Infectious Groove, Incubus and a few others to cancel/postpone their tour in Europe, the line-up remains 90% intact with Faith No More, Judas Priest, Deftones, Deep Purple, Korn, Megadeth, Dropkick Murphys, Airbourne, Offspring, Social Distortion, Killing Joke, to which have been added Avenged Sevenfold and Five Finger Death Punch, to name a few.
Something new for the HELLFEST, the second weekend will last 4 days with a completely different program compared to the previous three days. Indeed, only Airbourne, Megadeth and Killing Joke will again be present alongside, in order of appearance, Scorpions, Wardruna (with a show specially mounted for the occasion), Helloween (in full), Rise Against, Nine Inch Nails (for a unique performance in Europe), Ministry, Alice Cooper, Bad Religion, Guns N’Roses (for the 1st time in Clisson with Axl , Slash and Duff), Nightwish, Black Label Society, Avatar, Sabaton, Bring Me The Horizon, Mercyful Fate, and therefore, Metallica which will close in beauty these 7 days of madness.
The date of sale of the 4-day passes of the second weekend has been set for Wednesday, July 7 at 13:00, so that festival-goers can anticipate the organization of their holidays, trips and, if they do not camp, their accommodation.
Note that the pass holders for the 2020 edition, twice postponed, will have privileged access, for 24 hours, to a presale that will be launched on Tuesday, July 6 at 13:00. This option aims to thank all those who have supported the festival by preferring to keep their 2020 pass for almost two years. For many reasons, both technical and economic (impossible to replace a 3-day pass by a 4-day pass), an exchange from one weekend to the next is not possible. The price of the 4 Days pass is 289€, that of the 1-day pass will be 105€ (excluding rental costs).
