Pop Evil – Let the Chaos Reign +Work
Les américains Pop Evil ont dévoilé deux titres extraits de leur futur nouvel album !
Le groupe du Michigan est actuellement studio avec différents producteurs et ces nouvelles chansons dévoilent deux univers différents : du metal très direct énergique et furieux avec Let the Chaos Reign Produit par Nick Rowe (Lamb of God, Vampire Weekend…)
Mixé by Drew Fulk (Fear Factory, We Came as Romans, Wage War…) et une approche plus “expérimentale” façon “Imagine Dragons”avec Work Co-produit par Boonn (Grandson, Mike Shinoda….) & Krupa et Mixé par Adam Hawkins (Twenty-One Pilots, Yungblud, Muse…)

Offenses, victimisation, exploitation : tout cela se produit tous les jours et se justifie principalement par de pseudo nécessités économiques, politiques, religieuses, culturelles, sexuelles ou raciales…
Tel est le constat de Within Temptation dans ce nouveau morceau qui marque le début du lancement, dans les mois qui viennent, de différents titres que le groupe réalisera de manière complètement indépendante. En concert avec Evanescence le 14 septembre à Accor Arena
Untitled With Drums ! – Strangers
Bercé par des artistes aussi divers que Failure, Slint, Cave In, True Widow ou encore Shipping News, Untitled With Drums mêle à son rock alternatif des sonorités noise tout droit venues des 90’s avec des ambiances plus modernes empruntées au post-rock voire au post-hardcore. Un genre singulier qui se retrouve sur “Strangers”, premier extrait de Hollow, son premier album 06 Mars dernier via Atypeek Music et Araki Records.
Ce titre a été capté live le 08 Octobre 2019 à la Coopérative de Mai (Clermont-Ferrand) alors que le groupe se produisait en première partie des Américains de Daughters.
Les dix titres de ce premier album ont d’abord été enregistrés “live” sous la houlette de Serge Morattel (Rec Studio – Genève, Suisse – Year Of No Light, Knut, Ventura, etc.) afin de capter au mieux l’énergie injectée par le quintet dans sa musique. Les guitares et les synthétiseurs ont, par la suite, été ré-enregistrés afin de proposer ce résultat “écorché” empreint de mélancolie.
THE DEAD DAISIES – Unspoken
Une bonne dose de rock classique ça vous tente ? Ecoutez Unspoken, un titre disons… historique car il marque l’arrivée de Glenn Hughes ( ex-Trapeze, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Gary Moore, Black Country Communion…) au sein du groupe,
Unspoken en est le 1er extrait de “Holy Ground”, le nouvel album de THE DEAD DAISIES qui sera disponible cet été.
Produit par Ben Grosse (Dream Theater, Marilyn Manson, Sevendust) et enregistré aux studios La Fabrique dans le sud de la France.

BARRENS – nouvel album Penumbra en écoute intégrale
BARRENS le nouveau trio de Gothenburg (Suède) (formé par avec 2 membres de SCRAPS OF TAPE) sort un superbe premier album PENUMBRA : poussé par des synthés tout aussi bien que par les guitares, Penumbra oscille entre le côté sombre et le côté plus lumineux du post rock, mais penche davantage vers l’obscurité. L’album tourne conceptuellement autour de sujets comme le changement, la métamorphose et la transformation. PENUMBRA est dense, sophistiqué, profond, mature, écrasant, minimaliste et élaboré en même temps.
STUBORA – Breaking The Law
En cette période de confinement, STUBORA revient en vidéo sur l’une de ses influences des années 80 avec une reprise du titre « de JUDAS PRIEST. Chaque membre du groupe, a travaillé, enregistré et filmé le titre de son côté avec comme objectif commun de se faire plaisir et de le partager avec tous les fans du combo britannique.
THE PSYCHEDELIC FURS – NO-ONE
L’ambiance 80s est de retour plus frais et plus forte que jamais avec THE PSYCHEDELIC FURS qui ont dévoilé le titre “No-One”(écrit par Written by: R.Butler/R.Good)
Leur nouvel album très attendu, Made Of Rain, est prévu prochainement mais 3 titres No-One, Don’t Believe et You’ll Be Mine peuvent être téléchargés en streaming lorsque vous pré-commandez l’album sur : https://psychfurs.lnk.to/MoR.
L’album a été produit par le groupe et Richard Fortus, tandis que le mixage a été assuré par Tim Palmer (David Bowie, U2, Robert Plant).
Pour rappel Psychedelic Furs a déjà sorti sept albums: “The Psychedelic Furs” (1980), “Talk Talk Talk” (1981), “Forever Now” (1982), “Mirror Moves” (1984), “Midnight To Midnight” (1987), “Book Of Days” (1989) et “World Outside” (1991). Ils ont également sorti de nombreux singles devenus classiques dans les années 80 et 90, dont “Sister Europe”, “Love My Way”, “The Ghost In You”, “Pretty In Pink”, “Heaven”, “Heartbreak Beat”, “All That Money Wants” et “Until She Comes”.

MIRO SHOT – I Used to Say Things to Strangers
Avec ce nouveau clip, le collectif Miro Shot nous plonge dans un univers ultra-numérisé où réseaux sociaux et nouvelles technologies dictent le monde et prennent le contrôle de nos vies. L’être humain
vit alors dans un monde mi-réel, mi-virtuel, et observe le quotidien d’inconnus à travers un écran, duquel il ne peut plus se détacher…
Faire un album comme l’on fait un trip, un voyage semé de rencontres pour cerner notre époque et en restituer la pulpe. C’est dans cet état d’esprit que Roman Rappak(le chanteur-leader du groupe anglais BRETON) a écrit, composé et réalisé Content, le premier album de son nouveau collectif MIRO SHOT.
Pendant 2 ans, il a sillonné la planète, appris et dialogué avec les CEO visionnaires et légèrement barges de la Silicon Valley, codé avec des hackers d’Europe de l’Est, enregistré des pistes avec l’Orchestre Philharmonique de Macédoine, et réuni Mary Wilson (ancienne chanteuse de The Supremes), Manfred Mann (claviériste de légende) ou encore Alexander Parsons (génial arrangeur de la BBC).
Content est le résultat de toutes ces aventures et de toutes ces réflexions, un album mondialisé dont les 11 pistes d’une électro-pop très organique, entremêlent l’art du sample aux instruments réels (basse, guitare, synthé…).
Evoquant des influences aussi diverses que David Bowie, Prince, Tyler The Creator, et puisant ses inspirations aussi bien dans la pop mainstream, les BO de films et la musique de jeux vidéo, Content embrasse les grands thèmes de notre ère sur-numérisée et traite en connaissance de cause des GAFAM, de l’intelligence artificielle, de la post-culture internet et des chamboulements de l’industrie musicale.
DeWolff – Live Like You
Le sympathique trio psychédélique hollandais DeWolff lance un nouveau single intitulé Live Like You, une chanson qui a été retenue par la marque automobile Skoda pour illustrer la prochaine campagne de pub TV/radio de son modèle OCTAVIA, qui devrait officiellement démarrer dans quelques semaines.
Steven Wilson – Personal Shopper
Le sixième album de Steven Wilson à venir a été reporté en raison de problèmes liés à la situation actuelle. Initialement prévu pour une sortie le 12 juin 2020, The Future Bites sortira désormais le 29 janvier 2021.

Pop Evil – Let the Chaos Reign + Work
The American band Pop Evil have unveiled two tracks from their future new album! The Michigan band is currently in the studio with different producers and these new songs reveal two different universes: a very energetic and furious metal with Let the Chaos Reign Produced by Nick Rowe (Lamb of God, Vampire Weekend…) and mixed by Drew Fulk (Fear Factory, We Came as Romans, Wage War…)
and a more “experimental” approach “Imagine Dragons” style with Work, Co-produced by Boonn (Grandson, Mike Shinoda….) – Krupa and Mixed by Adam Hawkins (Twenty-One Pilots, Yungblud, Muse…)

Their new single “Entertain You”, out on May 8, 2020, revolves around the urge for self-gratification at the expense of the other. This new track which marks the beginning of the launch, in the coming months, of different songs that the group will perform completely independent! Untitled With Drums – Strangers
Rocked by artists as diverse as Failure, Slint, Cave In, True Widow or Shipping News, Untitled With Drums mixes with its alternative rock noise sounds straight from the 90’s with more modern atmospheres borrowed from post-rock or post-hardcore.
A singular genre that can be found on “Strangers”, the first single out from Hollow, their debut album released on 06th of March via Atypeek Music and Araki Records. This track was captured live on October 08, 2019 at the Cooperative of Mai (Clermont-Ferrand) while the band was performing in the first part of the Americans of Daughters.
The ten tracks of this first album were first recorded “live” under the guidance of Serge Morattel (Rec Studio – Geneva, Switzerland – Year Of No Light, Knut, Ventura, etc.) in order to capture the best energy injected by the quintet into their music. The guitars and synthesizers were later re-recorded in order to offer this result “skinned” imbued with melancholy.
THE DEAD DAISIES – Unspoken

Listen to Unspoken, a track let’s say… historical because it marks the arrival of Glenn Hughes (ex-Trapeze, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Gary Moore, Black Country Communion…) within the band. MIRO SHOT – I Used to Say Things to Strangers
With this new video clip, the collective Miro Shot plunges us into an ultra-digital universe where social networks and new technologies dictate the world and take control of our lives. The human being then lives in a half-real, half-virtual world, and observes the daily lives of strangers through a screen, from which he can no longer detach himself… Make an album like we do a trip; a journey strewn with encounters to define our time and restore the pulp. It is in this spirit that Roman Rappak (the lead singer of the English band BRETON) wrote, composed and directed Content, the first album of his new collective MIRO SHOT.
For 2 years, he travelled the world, learned and chatted with the visionary and slightly barged CEOs of Silicon Valley, coded with Hackers from Eastern Europe, recorded tracks with the Macedonian Philharmonic Orchestra, and reunited Mary Wilson (former singer of The Supremes), Manfred Mann (legendary keyboardist) or Alexander Parsons (great arranger of the BBC).
Content is the result of all these adventures and reflections, a globalized album whose 11 tracks of a very organic electro-pop, interweave the art of sample with real instruments (bass, guitar, synth …). With influences as diverse as David Bowie, Prince, Tyler The Creator, and drawing inspiration from mainstream pop, film soundtracks and video game music, Content embraces the major themes of our over-digitized era and knowingly deals with GAFAM, artificial intelligence, post-culture internet and the upheavals of the music industry.

The nice Dutch psychedelic trio DeWolff is launching a new single entitled Live Like You, a song that has been selected by the car brand Skoda to illustrate the upcoming TV/radio advertising campaign of its OCTAVIA model, which should officially start in a few weeks.
Steven Wilson – Personal Shopper
Steven Wilson’s upcoming sixth album has been postponed due to problems related to the current situation. Originally scheduled for release on June 12, 2020, The Future Bites will now be released on January 29, 2021. Discover the first extract Personal Shopper.
