On the road again, for my summer Interpol festivals tour…This time a really short stop in Switzerland, the country of precision, for Rock Altitude Festival in Le Locle.
Yeah, disoriented in a green countryside landscape, on the skate rink of the little town, somewhere between chalets, vineyards and farms…Under the freezing icy rain, about 10°C, middle of August …Boo…
Arrived wet and trembling like a leaf, nice surprise to find a lovely small venue with joyful party people who looks they all knows each other.
A mini festival, 10000 people on 4 days, beautiful lineup, at 1000m height and I do not remember how many litres of beer…
Interpol arrived late in the evening and the terrible cold faded away … but the guys on stage were frozen I think…
Happy to be 3rd row, determined to enjoy every single moment….
Feeding my mind and my soul with this fantastic sound & vision, so I can keep safely my supplies for 3-4 years, as El Pintor Tour, sadly, is almost finish, and untill new album, it will be kind of…an eternity..
The show was tremendously perfect… I know, as always … but this is the truth.
Oceans of feelings, so much love and emotion, ears invasion and wide bright eyes…
About 1h15 minutes of awesomeness … they played the most beautiful ever Pioneer of the Falls which flight straight into my heart, a totally incredible Take me to the Cruise, a yearning My Blue Supreme…
Excellent surprise with Lenght Of Love… I do not remember if I heard it live already, and then The NEW, Evil, PDA, Slow, Narc, etc etc etc (nope, still no Public Pervert… )
Open hearted, alive, shaking and shivering …
Like in a sweet dream, the end came quickly, I think they had to stop bit earlier…problem with drums…? not sure, but a bad feeling that we missed 2-3 songs.
When smiling Paul Banks said “one more” Obstacle 1, I felt like the whole world was coming down on my shoulders…it’s finish…
Well, one more round for me, at home this time, then turn off the lights or not…maybe…
For now, my head is still in LeLocle and I’ll hold it for a while …as this kind of shit dont heal in a week …
Here my photos … Interpol, Huge Thank You …
