Unforgettable last week end in Dubai for SANDANCE festival!

Escaped from the almost winter, grey, rainy weather from Paris, the 35°C humid air in Dubai was quite a shock. And once arrived at the Atlantis Palm Dubai just said WOW!!!

What to say about this big impressive building grown from nowhere on a palm sand branch?

Huge, Amazing, Luxurious… totally inspired from Las Vegas Hotels –beautiful flowers, impressive sculptures and furniture  everywhere, everything is shinny , brightening – floors , walls, lobby all are   immaculate …

And, the most amazing is that the Killers were there, too.

Since 2010, the hotel organized Sandance Festival which is a kind of huge party on the beach, a marathon of 12 hours music – concerts or DJs from 3 am to 3 pm.

Do not know what to say about the early hours of the festival – but at 20 pm, we found an extremely hot ambience down there in the public – feet in the sand – and very big beer fans.

The Killers started at 21h30 and they looked & sounded FABULOUS. They delivered an electric show – the last one saved for the best- as their long international touring stopped that evening.

A happy smiling Brandon, full of energy and perfect vocals, Dave’s powerful guitar riffs , the unstoppable  Ronnie and his unrelenting drum lines and  Jake’s assuming perfectly the bass partition –their performance left us breathless and on sweat .

Brilliant Spaceman, crowd’s favourite Human, excellent For Reasons Unknown or my favourite All the things that I have done – The Killers demonstrate again that they put their heart & soul singing everywhere.

Split rumors- no way– after more than 1 year far from home, that’s pretty normal. We are all “sick of “routine . They are also Humans (hmm or are they Dancers???)
