ROYAL REPUBLIC – Venus & I am so Excited

Royal Republic, les rois du rock’n’roll survitaminé Made in Sweden, sont de retour comme vous ne les avez jamais vus !

Découvrez leurs versions des classiques discos immortels : Venus (de Shocking Blue) & I am so Excited (des Pointer Sisters), les deuxpremiers chapitres de la bande son d’une mini-série en quatre épisodes.

Bardé de cuir la tête aux pieds, arborant un look digne des dieux du black metal, le gang de Malmö nous dévoile une vision carrément excentrique d’eux-mêmes dans la peau des The Blastbeaters!

Ce groupe fictif de black metal, alter ego d’Adam, Jonas, Per et Hannes nous ont préparé quatre reprises disco cultes revisitées à coup de guitares dans une ambiance ultra fun où tout est amplifié : plus fort, plus fou, plus heavy que jamais !

Des personnages au passé mystérieux, prêts à conquérir le monde au volant de leur Volvo, coiffés de manière déconcertante et prenant des décisions parfois douteuses.

On attend avec impatience quels surprises le groupe nous réserve dans les deux derniers épisodes à venir.

ALTER BRIGE – Come To Life

Avec plus de deux décennies de carrière, le quatuor ALTER BRIGE – composé de Myles Kennedy au chant et à la guitare, Mark Tremonti à la guitare et au chant, Brian Marshall à la basse et Scott Phillips à la batterie – ne montre aucun signe de fatigue et compte bien poursuivre sur sa lancée avec la sortie de son huitième album studio tout simplement baptisé Alter Bridge, qui sortira le 9 janvier 2026 via Napalm Records.

Le disque présente 12 nouveaux titres dont Rue The Day, Disregarded et Scales Are Falling qui s’inscrivent droit dans la lignée des classiques du déjà riche répertoire du groupe. A travers Trust In Me, Myles et Mark se partagent le chant, le premier assure les couplets, tandis l’autre lui répond sur les refrains.

Cette stratégie vocale est carrément inversée sur Tested And Able, chanson qui comporte l’une des intros les plus heavy que groupe ait jamais enregistrée, avant qu’elle ne cède la place à une mélodie inoubliable. Hang By A Thread deviendra sans aucun doute l’un des morceaux préférés du public, tant il fait référence à certains hymnes d’AB.

Enfin l’album se termine sur Slave To Master, un titre épique, le plus long que le quatuor ait composé à ce jour. Il est un fois de plus produit par Michael « Elvis » Baskette. Les sessions se sont étalées sur deux mois, au printemps dernier, entre le légendaire studio 5150 en Californie et “chez Elvis” en Floride.

L’album sera accompagné par une grande tournée intitulée What Lies Within Tour qui passera par 31 villes en Europe et en UK. Trois dates sont prévues en France le 6 février à la Halle Tony Garnier (Lyon), le 13 février à l’Arkea Arena (Bordeaux) et le 18 février 2026 au Zénith (Paris).

A cette occasion les groupes Daughtry et Sevendust les rejoindrons sur scène Les billets sont déjà disponibles.

DAUGHTRY – The Bottom

On enchaine donc avec DAUGHTRY . Quasi inconnu en France, DAUGHTRY est pourtant une force de la nature de la scène rock US, où le groupe connaît un succès retentissant confirmé par plusieurs disques d’or et de platine et or, deux albums n° 1 du Top 200 du Billboard 200 et de nombreuses tournées “sold out”.

A ce jour, le groupe a vendu plus de 9 millions d’albums et 25 millions de singles. En 2021 Dearly Beloved avait vu plusieurs de ses singles se classer dans le Top 10 du Billboard :World On Fire, Heavy Is The Crown et Changes Are Coming.

Après une année 2024 marquante, notamment grâce à deux singles classés n°1 dans les charts “Active Rock” aux USA – Artificial et Pieces et des tournées archi complètes en compagnie de Breaking Benjamin, Staind et Disturbed, DAUGHTRY poursuit sur sa lancée en annonçant la sortie de son prochain EP Shock to the System (part 2) qui sera disponible le 12 septembre prochain sur Dogtree Records / Big Machine Label Group / Universal Music.

Sortie le 27 septembre 2024 Shock to the System (Part 1) restera à jamais une étape déterminante pour DAUGHTRY, qui a atteint pour la première fois le top du classement “Active Rock” avec « Artificial», puis avec « Pieces ». Un EP dont les qualités ont largement été saluées par des médias Outre Atlantique qui ont souligné la puissance et l’évolution créative du groupe.

Grâce à Shock to the System (part 2), DAUGHTRY va donc enfin pouvoir partir à la conquête de l’hexagone et revenir jouer en France (en 2012 ils avaient assuré la 1ère partie de Nickelback au Zénith de Paris, puis, en 2014, joué en tête d’affiche au Trabendo). Il était temps !

The WARNING – Automatic Sun (Live From Auditorio Nacional, CDMX)

Le trio mexicain THE WARNING poursuit sa route à la conquête du monde.

Formé par les 3 sœurs Villarreal : Alejandra « Ale » (Basse, Chœurs) Paulina « Pau » (Chant, batterie) et Daniela « Dany » (chant, guitare), le groupe rock phénomène originaire de Monterrey sortira le 22 aout « Live From Auditorio Nacional, CDMX » sur Republic/ Universal.

Enregistré à Mexico City, cet album live démontre l’énergie brute, la brillance technique et le talent implacable de THE WARNING, l’un de groupe 100% féminin le plus prometteur de la scène rock actuelle.  

Après avoir donné un concert archi complet à l’Olympia en avril dernier, le trio mexicain a fait un carton au Hellfest au mois de juin. A ce jour, leur prestation a généré 958 000 vues sur le site Arte Concert. C’est tout simplement le concert de l’édition 2025 qui a été le plus regardée en direct, puis en replay.

RISE AGAINST – I Want It All

4 ans après Nowhere Generation, Rise Against revient avec un nouvel album intitulé Ricochet, le 15 aout 2025, sans doute le plus retentissant et le plus revigorant à ce jour.

« L’algorithme veut attirer notre attention, il est donc conçu pour nous faire rire ou pleurer, mais surtout, il veut nous mettre en colère, car c’est ainsi qu’il se propage le plus loin. Comme un tas de billes, frappé fort. Qui profite de notre colère ? Des questions que nous ne posons pas, alors que nous tirons à tout va. »  déclare le chanteur et guitariste :Tim McIlrath

A travers ces douze chansons, Rise Against invite les auditeurs à réaliser à qui profite finalement cette division et ce mécontentement collectif, à réfléchir avant d’agir, à penser aux conséquences de nos actions les uns envers les autres, alors que les structures de pouvoir, qui nous poussent à agir, restent, elles, préservées et protégées.

Ancré dans une idée d’unification, Ricochet est un album au son massif, mais centré sur les petites parties de la psyché qui mènent au plus grand changement positif. Tout commence par soi-même, et sur le single brûlant I Want It All, Rise Against fait vrombir le moteur et lance dans une mission d’autodétermination ardente, ambitieuse et sans concession.

MIRADOR – Feels like Gold

MIRADOR est un groupe composé de Jake Kiszka, cofondateur et guitariste de GRETA VAN FLEET, lauréat d’un Grammy et de son homologue britannique Chris Turpin, guitariste, chanteur et compositeur du groupe de rock alternatif IDA MAE.

C’est en 2018 que le duo s’est rencontré lorsque IDA MAE jouait en première partie de GRETA VAN FLEET. Sur la route Jake et Chris ont cimenté leur amitié lors de jam sessions nocturnes alimentées par une passion commune pour le blues et les auteurs-compositeurs classiques. Cette collaboration a porté ses fruits car elle a abouti à une dizaine de chansons.

En 2023, la formation se finalise avec Mikey Sorbello à la batterie et Nicki Pini à la basse, des musiciens virtuoses et des outsiders de la scène underground du jazz et du rock’n’roll dans le centre de Londres.

Découvre le single Feels Like Gold, premier extrait du premier album éponyme qui sortira le 19 septembre chez Republic Records.

Le groupe se produira à Paris, le 7 novembre 2025 au Bataclan.

DINOSAUR PILE-UP  – My Way

Dinosaur Pile-Up a fait un sacré voyage depuis 2019 et sa tournée “sold out” en Grande-Bretagne. Six ans plus tard, le trio se met courageusement à nu sur son nouvel album très inspirant et pertinemment intitulé I’ve Felt Better qui sortira le 22 aout.

Le groupe de Leeds formé par Matt Bigland (chant / guitare) – Mike Sheils (batterie) – Jim Cratchley (basse) a également annoncé d’annoncer 5 concerts au Royaume-Uni pour le mois de septembre.

Le fait que cet album puisse enfin voir le jour est un élément important du bonheur de Matt. Avoir réussi à surmonter une maladie mortelle donne une nouvelle perspective sur la vie.

Il se concentre plus que jamais sur son travail, sa maison et les plaisirs simples de la vie. Tout cela met aussi en évidence la place importante de la musique dans son quotidien, et c’est pourquoi l’album passe par toute une gamme d’émotions : épuisement, santé mentale, autonomisation, célébrité, vulnérabilité et, surtout, l’amour qui est au cœur de ce disque et ces chansons…

« Après cette longue pause, nous sommes avides de reprendre la route et de jouer nos nouvelles chansons en live », déclare Matt Bigland. « Nous sommes très enthousiastes à propos de cet album et nous avons hâte de revoir nos fans !»

WINGS OF STEEL – We Rise

Après avoir révélé la chanson titre de leur nouvel album, Wind of Time, sortie prévue le 17 octobre 2025, Wings of Steel a dévoilé un nouvel extrait intitulé We Rise.

Un bijou de heavy metal “old school”, à travers lequel il tire le meilleur parti de sa capacité à capturer de manière authentique l’atmosphère sonore et esthétique de l’ère classique du hard rock de la fin des années 70 et des fameuses années 80. Illustré par un clip vidéo faisant référence à l’âge d’or de MTV, la puissance du chant et du riff de We Rise délivrent un message fort destiné à toucher le cœur et l’âme des fans de heavy metal traditionnel.

Depuis la sortie de leur premier album Gates of Twilight, la réputation du groupe n’a cessé de croître en Europe et en France, où le groupe a même enregistré un album live et s’est récemment produit au Heavy Weekend à Nancy. On vous a parlé de leur excellent concert.

WINGS OF STEEL sera de retour en concert en France le samedi 13 septembre à Torreilles, près de Perpignan, à l’occasion de la 9ème édition du Pyrenean Warriors Open Air. Ils partageront l’affiche avec Geoff Tate, Q5, Jag Panzer, Triumpher et 4 autres groupes.

Les versions CD et vinyle de l’album sont disponibles via High Roller Records pour l’Europe et directement le site web du groupe pour les États-Unis.

A noter que ce deal de distribution exclusive avec le label album Allemand High Roller Records, permet de mettre à disposition à plus grande échelle le EP Wings of Steel et l’album Gates of Twilight qui étaient souvent bien difficiles à trouver en magasin.

SABATON- The Duelist & Lightning At The Gates

Le 25 juillet, SABATON a annoncé la sortie de son nouvel album, Legends, prévu le 17 octobre 2025 et à cette occasion, ils ont dévoilé 2 nouvelles chansons :The Duelist & Lightning At The Gates

A travers Legends, SABATON s’adresse aux amateurs de rock et d’histoire de tous âges. Cette fois le groupe suédois – constitué de Joakim Brodén (chant), Pär Sundström (basse), Chris Rörland (guitare), Thobbe Englund (guitare), Hannes Van Dahl (batterie) – se penche avec passion sur le parcours de certains des personnages les plus marquants et les plus fascinants de l’Histoire, tels que Jeanne d’Arc, Napoléon Bonaparte, Jules César ou encore le l’incomparable maître d’armes japonais Miyamoto Musashi.

C’est à ce dernier que le morceau The Duelist fait référence. Maniant le sabre comme personne, il est aussi l’auteur d’un ouvrage intitulé le “Livre des cinq anneaux”, considéré comme l’une des plus grandes œuvres jamais écrites au sujet de l’escrime. Pas étonnant que SABATON ait décidé de lui dédier une version vinyle spéciale baptisée la «  Miyamoto Musashi Edition ».

De son côté, Lightning At The Gates, il fait référence à l’incroyable périple du fameux général carthaginois Hannibal. Considéré comme l’un des plus grands tacticiens de l’histoire militaire, lui et ses éléphants sont remis à l’honneur avec une superbe « Hannibal Edition».

Dès lors, vous l’aurez compris, Legends est beaucoup plus qu’un simple nouvel album de SABATON. C’est une odyssée rock qui transcende le temps et les frontières, avec des riffs de guitare mélodiques, des chœurs qui donnent la chair de poule et des refrains épiques.

Il marque une évolution audacieuse dans la narration, plongeant la première au cœur des figures les plus redoutables et énigmatiques de l’Histoire. Ce ne sont pas seulement des chansons rock, ce sont des hymnes de guerre sculptés dans le sang et l’héritage des guerriers, des rois, des stratèges et des révolutionnaires qui ont forgé l’Histoire du monde.

C’est la toute première fois que tous les membres du groupe se sont réunis pour contribuer au processus d’écriture des chansons. ROYAL REPUBLIC – Venus & I am so Excited

Royal Republic, the kings of rock’n’roll Made in Sweden, are back like you’ve never seen them before!

Check out their versions of the immortal disco classics: Venus (by Shocking Blue) and I Am So Excited (by the Pointer Sisters), the first two chapters of the soundtrack of a four-episode mini-series.

Clad in leather from head to toe, sporting a look worthy of the gods of black metal, the Malmö gang reveals a downright eccentric vision of themselves in the skin of The Blastbeaters!

This fictional black metal band, alter ego of Adam, Jonas, Per and Hannes has prepared four cult disco covers revisited with guitars in an ultra fun atmosphere where everything is amplified: louder, crazier, heavier than ever!

Characters with a mysterious past, ready to conquer the world at the wheel of their Volvo, with disconcerting hairstyles and sometimes questionable decisions.

We are impatiently waiting for what surprises the band has in store for us in the last two episodes to come.

ALTER BRIGE – Come To Life

With more than two decades of career, the ALTER BRIGE composed of Myles Kennedy on vocals and guitar, Mark Tremonti on guitar and vocals, Brian Marshall on bass and Scott Phillips on drums – shows no signs of fatigue and intends to continue its momentum with the release of its eighth studio album simply called Alter Bridge,  which will be released on January 9, 2026 via Napalm Records.

The record features 12 new tracks including Rue The Day, Disregarded and Scales Are Falling, which are in line with the classics of the band’s already rich repertoire. Through Trust In Me, Myles and Mark share the vocals, the former provides the verses, while the other responds to him on the choruses.

This vocal strategy is reversed on Tested And Able, a song that features one of the heaviest intros the band has ever recorded, before it gives way to an unforgettable melody. Hang By A Thread will undoubtedly become one of the public’s favorite tracks, as it refers to some of AB’s anthems.

Finally, the album ends with Slave To Master, an epic track, the longest the quartet has composed to date. It is once again produced by Michael “Elvis” Baskette. The recording sessions were spread over two months, last spring, between the legendary studio 5150 in California and “Elvis’ home” in Florida.

The album will be accompanied by a major tour entitled What Lies Within Tour which will pass through 31 cities in Europe and the UK. Three dates are scheduled in France on February 6 at the Halle Tony Garnier (Lyon), on February 13 at the Arkea Arena (Bordeaux) and on February 18, 2026 at the Zenith (Paris).

On this occasion, the bands Daughtry and Sevendust will join them on stage.

Then, we continue with DAUGHTRY. Almost unknown in France, DAUGHTRY is nevertheless a force of nature in the US rock scene, where the band has enjoyed resounding success confirmed by several gold and platinum and gold records, two No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 Top 200 and numerous “sold out” tours.

To date, the band has sold more than 9 million albums and 25 million singles. In 2021, Dearly Beloved had seen several of its singles rank in the Top 10 of the Billboard: World On Fire, Heavy Is The Crown and Changes Are Coming.

After a memorable year 2024, thanks in particular to two singles ranked No. 1 in the “Active Rock” charts in the USA – Artificial and Pieces  and sold-out tours with Breaking Benjamin, Staind and Disturbed, DAUGHTRY continues its momentum by announcing the release of its next EP Shock to the System (part 2) which will be available on September 12 on Dogtree Records / Big Machine Label Group / Universal Music.

Released on September 27, 2024 Shock to the System (Part 1) will forever remain a milestone for DAUGHTRY, who first reached the top of the “Active Rock” charts with “Artificial” and then with “Pieces”. An EP whose qualities have been widely praised by the media across the Atlantic, who have highlighted the band’s power and creative evolution.

Thanks to Shock to the System (part 2), DAUGHTRY will finally be able to conquer France and come back to play in France (in 2012 they opened for Nickelback at the Zenith in Paris, then, in 2014, played as a headliner at the Trabendo). It’s about time!

The Mexican trio THE WARNING continues its journey to conquer the world.

4 years after Nowhere Generation, Rise Against is back with a new album entitled Ricochet, on August 15, 2025, undoubtedly the most resounding and invigorating to date.

MIRADOR – Feels like Gold

MIRADOR is a band composed of Jake Kiszka, co-founder and guitarist of Grammy winner GRETA VAN FLEET and his British counterpart Chris Turpin, guitarist, singer and songwriter of the alternative rock band IDA MAE.

It was in 2018 that the duo met when IDA MAE was opening for GRETA VAN FLEET. On the road, Jake and Chris cemented their friendship in late-night jam sessions fueled by a shared passion for the blues and classic songwriters. This collaboration has borne fruit as it has resulted in a dozen songs.

In 2023, the line-up is finalized with Mikey Sorbello on drums and Nicki Pini on bass, virtuoso musicians and outsiders from the underground jazz and rock’n’roll scene in central London.

Discover the single Feels Like Gold, the first single from the eponymous debut album which will be released on September 19 by Republic Records.

The group will perform in Paris on November 7, 2025 at the Bataclan.

DINOSAUR PILE-UP  – My Way

Dinosaur Pile-Up has been on quite a journey since 2019 and its “sold out” tour in Great Britain. Six years later, the trio bravely lays bare on their very inspiring and aptly titled new album I’ve Felt Better , which will be released on August 22nd.

The Leeds band formed by Matt Bigland (vocals / guitar) – Mike Sheils (drums) – Jim Cratchley (bass) has also announced to announce 5 concerts in the United Kingdom for the month of September.

The fact that this album can finally see the light of day is an important part of Matt’s happiness. Having successfully overcome a life-threatening illness gives you a new perspective on life.

WINGS OF STEEL – We Rise

After revealing the title track of their new album, Wind of Time, scheduled for release on October 17, 2025, Wings of Steel unveiled a new single entitled We Rise.

A jewel of “old school” heavy metal, through which he makes the most of his ability to authentically capture the sound and aesthetic atmosphere of the classic hard rock era of the late 70s and the famous 80s. Illustrated by a video clip referencing the golden age of MTV, the power of We Rise’s vocals and riff deliver a strong message intended to touch the hearts and souls of fans of traditional heavy metal.

Since the release of their debut album Gates of Twilight, the band’s reputation has continued to grow in Europe and France, where the band has even recorded a live album and recently performed at Heavy Weekend in Nancy. We told you about their excellent concert.

WINGS OF STEEL will be back in concert in France on Saturday, September 13 in Torreilles, near Perpignan, on the occasion of the 9th edition of the Pyrenean Warriors Open Air. They will share the bill with Geoff Tate, Q5, Jag Panzer, Triumpher and 4 other bands.

The CD and vinyl versions of the album are available via High Roller Records for Europe and directly on the band’s website for the United States.

Note that this exclusive distribution deal with the German album label High Roller Records, allows to make available on a larger scale the EP Wings of Steel and the album Gates of Twilight which were often very difficult to find in stores.

SABATON- The Duelist & Lightning At The Gates

On july 25th, SABATON annonced the release of their new album, Legends, scheduled for October 17th, 2025 and on this occasion, they unveiled 2 new songs: The Duelist & Lightning At The Gates.

Through Legends, SABATON caters to rock and history lovers of all ages. This time the Swedish band – made up of Joakim Brodén (vocals), Pär Sundström (bass), Chris Rörland (guitar), Thobbe Englund (guitar), Hannes Van Dahl (drums) – looks with passion at the careers of some of the most striking and fascinating characters in history, such as Joan of Arc, Napoleon Bonaparte, Julius Caesar or the incomparable Japanese fencing master Miyamoto Musashi.

It is to the latter that the track The Duelist refers. Wielding the sword like no one else, he is also the author of a book entitled “The Book of the Five Rings”, considered one of the greatest works ever written on the subject of fencing. No wonder SABATON decided to dedicate a special vinyl version to it called the “Miyamoto Musashi Edition”.

For its part, Lightning At The Gates, it refers to the incredible journey of the famous Carthaginian general Hannibal. Considered one of the greatest tacticians in military history, he and his elephants are honored with a superb “Hannibal Edition”.

Therefore, as you can see, Legends is much more than just a new SABATON album. It’s a rock odyssey that transcends time and borders, with melodic guitar riffs, goosebump-inducing backing vocals, and epic choruses.

It marks a bold evolution in storytelling, plunging the first into the heart of the most formidable and enigmatic figures in history. These are not just rock songs, they are war hymns carved in the blood and legacy of the warriors, kings, strategists and revolutionaries who have forged the history of the world.

This is the first time ever that all the members of the band have come together to contribute to the songwriting process.
