Un an et demi après leur concert au Petit Bain, THUNDERMOTHER était de retour à Paris, le 14 février 2025, dans la même salle pour nous présenter le nouvel album Dirty & Divine !
Ce n’est pas un secret : le groupe 100 % féminin adore jouer sur scène et a cumulé un nombre impressionnant de concerts dans le monde entier que ça soit en tête d’affiche ou en première partie des groupes légendaires comme SCORPIONS. Souvenez-vous elles ont même tournée pendant le Covid à bord d’un camion de pompiers !
Ce n’est donc pas étonnant que la tournée Dirty & Divine, leur 6eme album, a démarré le jour même de sa sortie, le 7 février 2025, et traverse actuellement de nombreux pays en Europe. Pas de repos pour les Suédoises même si la fondatrice du groupe Fillipa Nassil a donné naissance récemment à une petite fille qu’elle a évidemment embarquée elle avec dans le tour bus !
C’est donc Ladies’s Rock Night ce soir sur la charmante péniche bar/ resto/ salle de concert amarrée au pied de la Bibliothèque François Mitterrand dans le 13e arrondissement de Paris, car deux autres groupes de 100% féminines, VULVARINE et COBRA SPELL sont de la partie.
En arrivant e groupe autrichien VULVARINE est en train de terminer son set. Beaucoup d’énergie sur scène et d’enthousiasme dans le public, signe que le concert a fait bonne impression. Leur nouvel album Fast Lane sortira le 28 mars 2025 via Napalm Records, donc nous espérons avoir une nouvelle occasion pour les voir.
Deuxième groupe de la soirée, COBRA SPELL, arrive rapidement sur scène. Les sonorités Hard rock classic, heavy metal old school et glam metal dans la veine des années 80 sont à l’honneur. Leur album 666 est notamment mis en valeur avec des morceaux comme Satan Is A Woman, ‘S.E.X’ et Love Crime.
Des riffs tranchants délivrés par le duo de guitaristes Sonia Anubis et Adri Funerillies (le seul homme à monter sur scène ce soir) appuies par le chant puissant de Kristina Vega, sans oublier leurs tenues glam audacieuses en cuir avec des accessoires métalliques et des coiffures flamboyantes, le groupe deliver une performance très remarquée, récompensée par des fortes ovations du public.
La bannière qui représente la pochette de Dirty & Divine est installée en fond de scène, quelques réglages et c’est enfin le tour de THUNDERMOTHER !
Démarrage en trombe avec Can You Feel It, l’excellent morceaux ambiance AC/DC, extrait du nouvel album ! Can you feel it? It’s Rock n’ Roll, Do you feel it Can you feel it Into your soul? Do you feel it? c’est exactement qu’il fallait pour donner le ton d’un concert rock !
Un retour triomphant de THUNDERMOTHER à Paris avec un show Hard Rock puissant, bruyant, fun et addictif dans une ambiance chaude et vibrante !
La guitariste fondatrice du groupe, Filippa Nässil, accompagnées par Majsan Lindberg (basse), Linnéa Vikström Egg (chant) et Joan Massing (batterie) prennent d’assaut la scène ! Rock N Roll Vibes !
Le prochain morceau, So Close, ne fait que monter un peu plus la température. La set list sera composé majoritairement de morceaux extraits de Dirty & Divine sans oublier de puiser dans leur riche discographie qui contient maintenait 6 albums.
Loud and Free, Take The Power, I Left My Licence in the Future, I Don’t Know You les hymnes rock s’enchainnent dans une impitoyable explosion des riffs hard rock brulants et efficaces, des rythmiques massives et des refrains merveilleusement accrocheurs et fédérateurs. C’est Rock, C’est Energique et C’est FUN ! C’est à ça que le Rock N’Roll ressemble !
Malgré le petit espace dans la fosse les fans pogotent avec bonheur et il y a même 1-2 courageux qui font du crowd surfing! Chaque morceau est accueilli avec des cris, ovations et multitudes cornes !
Filippa, Majsan et Linnéa sont constamment en mouvement, font du head banging coordonné, alors que Joan, derrière son kit exécute son ballet de bras à la perfection. Les 4 filles sont souriantes, très complices et toujours au contact du public. Leur alchimie est indéniable. Sans aucun doute, elles vivent leur passion à 100% et ça fait plaisir de les voir !
Dans cette atmosphère bouillonnante, il ya un moment plus calme et tendre apporté par l’interprétation en acoustique de Sleep suivi d’un impressionnant solo de batterie. Linnéa remerciera la France pour leur avoir fourni Joan, une batteuse si talentueuse.
La charismatique chanteuse fait son show ! Elle monte souvent sur les estrades en bord de scène pour chanter et s’adresser au public, de temps en temps, elle empoigne une guitare pour accompagne Filipa et elle va même traverser la foule sur Don’t Believe A Word, la cover de Thin Lizzy pour s’installer sur le bar au fond de la salle et chanter au milieu de fans.
Le concert s’approche de la fin sans aucune baisse énergie. Can’t Put Out The Fire, Speaking of the Devil, Driving in Style clôturent le show magistralement!
We Fight for Rock N’Roll, la devise de THUNDERMOTHER est largement démontrée ! Le groupe se montre soudée, charismatique et brillant sur scène !

A year and a half after their concert at Le Petit Bain, THUNDERMOTHER was back in Paris, on February, 14th2025, in the same venue to present their new album Dirty & Divine!
It’s no secret that the 100% female band loves to play live and has played an impressive number of concerts around the world, whether as headliners or opening for legendary bands like SCORPIONS.
Remember, they even toured during Covid lockdown on a platform of a fire truck!
It’s no wonder that the Dirty & Divine tour, their 6th album, kicked off on the same day it was released, February 7, 2025, and is currently touring many countries in Europe.
No rest for the Swedish girls even if the founder of the group, Fillipa Nassil, recently gave birth to a little girl that she obviously travel with her on the tour bus!
So it’s Ladies’s Rock Night tonight on the charming barge/restaurant/concert hall moored at the foot of the François Mitterrand Library in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, as two other 100% female bands, VULVARINE and COBRA SPELL are part of the party.
When we arrive, the Austrian band VULVARINE is finishing its set. A lot of energy on stage and enthusiasm in the audience, a sign that the concert made a good impression. Their new album Fast Lane will be released on March 28th, 2025, via Napalm Records, so we hope to have another opportunity to see them.
The second band of the evening, COBRA SPELL, quickly arrives on stage. Classic hard rock, old school heavy metal and glam metal in the vein of the 80s are in the spotlight. Their album 666 is highlighted with tracks such as Satan Is A Woman, ‘S.E.X’ and Love Crime.
Sharp riffs delivered by the guitar duo Sonia Anubis and Adri Funerillies (the only man to take the stage tonight) supported by the powerful vocals of Kristina Vega, not to mention their provocative glam leather outfits with metallic accessories and flamboyant hairstyles, the band delivers a highly noticed performance, rewarded by strong ovations from the audience.
The banner representing the cover of Dirty & Divine is installed at the back of the stage, a few sound adjustments and it’s finally THUNDERMOTHER’s turn!
They start with the banger Can You Feel It, the excellent AC/DC vibe like track, out from the new album!
Can you feel it? It’s Rock n’ Roll, Do you feel it Can you feel it Into your soul? Do you feel it? That’s exactly what was needed to set the tone for a rock concert!
The band’s founding guitarist, Filippa Nässil, accompanied by Majsan Lindberg (bass), Linnéa Vikström Egg (vocals) and Joan Massing (drums) take the stage by storm! Rock N Roll Vibes!
The next track, So Close, only raises the temperature a little bit more. The set list will be composed mainly of tracks from Dirty & Divine as well as older tracks from their rich discography which now contains 6 albums.
Loud and Free, Take The Power, I Left My Licence in the Future, I Don’t Know You, the rock anthems follow one another in a merciless explosion of burning and effective hard rock riffs, massive rhythms and wonderfully catchy and unifying choruses.
It’s rock, it’s energetic and it’s FUN! That’s what Rock N’ Roll looks like!
THUNDERMOTHER mark a triumphant return in Paris with a powerful, noisy, fun and addictive Hard Rock show in a warm and vibrant atmosphere!
Despite the small space in the pit, the fans are happily pogoing around and there are even 1-2 brave people who are crowd surfing! Each track is greeted with shouts, ovations and multitudes of horns in the air!
Filippa, Majsan and Linnéa are constantly on the move, doing coordinated head banging, while Joan, behind her kit, performs her arm ballet to perfection.
The 4 girls are smiling, very complicit and are always in contact with the public. Their chemistry is undeniable. Without a doubt, they live their passion 100% and it’s nice to see them!
In this bubbling atmosphere, there is a quieter and more tender moment brought by the acoustic rendition of Sleep, followed by an impressive drum solo.
Linnéa will thank France for providing them with Joan, such a talented drummer.
The charismatic singer do her show! She often goes up to the stands at the edge of the stage to sing and address the audience, from time to time, she grabs a guitar to accompany Filipa and she even goes through the crowd on Don’t Believe A Word, the cover of Thin Lizzy to sit on the bar at the back of the room and sing in the middle of the fans.
The concert is approaching the end without any drop in energy.
